Junior Learners Programme (Ages 10-13) (10hrs lessons + 10hrs activities)

First of all: I did not stay in the family. I just came to the place for my daily three hours course.

Location: Nice appartment in an lively area of Paris
Teacher: friendly
Good mixture of grammer and just talking

What did I expect:
I was not aware that the teacher has a full time job in a company and does the lessons on top during her working hours. It turned out ok as we were not interrupted but is a bit of a strange feeling that a person is doing two jobs at the same time.

I expected that I had fixed hours e.g. in the morning. The hours were every day on a different time. It worked for me but of course is my concentration in the evening lower then in the mornings

I expected to get homework from the topics we discussed during the three hours.

I expected to get school material ( sheets with explanations and sheets to fill in the learned topics- grammar, etc.). We did everything by discussing and talking and writing everything down on paper. Which was ok too. I studied back home in my books I brought from Germany.

I think that a written structure would help after the first get to know meeting so the pupil knows what tpoics will be discussed.

I took lessons in legal French with Claude and loved it! I improved my French a lot and learned a lot of new things.

The week with Anne Savariau was everything I had hoped for and more. The room was spacious and comfortable. Her meals were always tasty. She helped me not only with my grammar and speaking skills, but taught me a lot about history and culture. She took me on a number of interesting excursions, including the Fondation Louis Vuitton, Versailles and a tour of the Opera Garnier. I would highly recommend her as a professor and as a host.

Nice location not too far from city Paris centre, Friendly host family. Simple meals together with the family.

Teacher came at my place, very good feeling. Classes were very good adjusted to my demands.
